Sgraffito Pottery Class with Linda

This is a great beginner level class to the world of glazing and sgraffito.

Your instructor will be Linda Ludbrook! Linda lives in Clearwater and has taught in secondary school for the last ten years. During this time, Linda has become completely engulfed in the world of pottery. She loves that every handmade piece is unique; each one having its own special characteristics. She also believes in the concept of slowing life down, while taking pride in creating things derived from the Earth. Linda appreciates how clay work encourages patience and connections with something deeper. Linda loves to encourage her participants to explore various cycles of pottery and the transformation of a ball of raw clay into a completely glazed and finished product. 

In this class you will get to learn the process of sgraffito and glazing. 

This class is 1 and a half hours long. Participants must be 12 and older for this class. This class includes two pieces to carve and glazing, all materials and safety equipment.
