This is a great beginner level class to the world of throwing pottery.
Your instructor will be Linda Ludbrook! Linda lives in Clearwater and has taught in secondary school for the last ten years. During this time, Linda has become completely engulfed in the world of pottery. She loves that every handmade piece is unique; each one having its own special characteristics. She also believes in the concept of slowing life down, while taking pride in creating things derived from the Earth. Linda appreciates how clay work encourages patience and connections with something deeper. Linda loves to encourage her participants to explore various cycles of pottery and the transformation of a ball of raw clay into a completely glazed and finished product.
In this class you will get to learn the process of throwing pottery.

At Maple Seed Collective, we are proud to operate at the opening of Wells Gray Provincial Park. Each of our classes is named after a key landmark in Wells Gray. This class is named after Moul Falls.
If you’ve ever wondered what lies behind the veil of a waterfall, you’ll want to explore Moul Falls. An easy one-hour hike through the forest delivers you to the top of the falls where you can enjoy the view from above or continue down to the base of the falls. From there you can experience the cool mist of Moul Falls’ rushing waters as you walk in between the veil of the falls and the canyon wall.
