Shannon Dana is a painter from Birch Island, British Columbia, Canada. She has a passion for travel and adventure, and loves to be out exploring the Canadian landscape with her family. Shannon's paintings lean toward impressionism. Her playful use of colour and strong value contrasts are recognizable across her work. Although she enjoys spending time in her home studio, Shannon feels that her true calling is plein air painting.  Luckily, for a landscape painter, living within such close proximity to Wells Gray Provincial Park in British Columbia, there is no shortage of inspiration for her paintings.
