This is a great class for all abilities to follow along how to build a functional handmade mug with a rolled slab of clay!
Your instructor will be Heath Fehr!
Heath is a multi-disciplinary artist living and working on the unceded territories of thE Secwepemc First Nation. She is a process based artist interested in creative practice as a toolfor communication and self regulation. Heath explores themes of mental wellness, creative flow, visual texture, and identity through her colorful work. As an instructor Heath strives to encourage students of all skill levels to explore mediums in playful depth. Students of all ages will learn tangible art skills while developing the personal confidence to experiment and bring their inner visions to life. Creative practice is for everyone and Heath strives to create a safe and inclusive learning experience.
In this class you will get to learn the process of hand-building and come out of it with a functional mug.
This class is 2 hours long. Participants must be 12 and older for this class. This class includes 2 lbs of clay, all materials and supplies.
